Caucus

We will be holding our 2023 Annual Caucus on Tuesday, June 6 beginning at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The purpose of the Caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the 2023 Massachusetts State Democratic Convention, which will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA.  The purpose of the 2023 Massachusetts State Democratic Convention is to to adopt a Party Agenda and/or Platform by a majority vote of Convention delegates present and voting based upon the recommendation, subject to amendments, of the Party Agenda or Platform Committee. Resolutions may be developed through a process beginning with caucuses of local Democrats.

All those persons who are registered in Wellesley as Democrats as of the date of the Caucus, and any pre-registered Democrats are eligible to participate in the Caucus and to run for election as a delegate or alternate to the State Convention.
